Welcome to Unbreakable Sara
Unbreakable Sara is a resource for parents who are on their path of learning to raise children with special needs. This site was founded by Sara Chan, who has been emotionally beaten, physically drained, and just completely exhausted trying to figure out the world of special needs parenting… but never broken.
The purpose of the site was initially a creative outlet to help process all that was happening. It’s morphed into a source for other parents who are on a similar journey’s to find ways to manage the parenting aspect, as well as finding ways to help themselves.
This journey is difficult. It’s stressful. Some days are just hard. You can do this, and you’ll find resources here to help.
The very first resource at your disposal is the downloadable checklist, doctor’s questions cheat sheet, and editable medications list. Click here to sign up, this will not only get the download, but it will also sign you up for our newsletter. We don’t like spam, and we won’t spam you. Feel free to unsubscribe at any time, though we’d hate to see you go. If you just came from that page and signed up, thank you!

- Self-Care for the busy Moms
- Healthy Lifestyle Changes

- Exercise Challenges
- Improve dinner time talk with children
- Playtime with the Kiddos
- An abundance of blog posts about… everything.
Parenting is hard, adulting is hard… at Unbreakable Sara you have a place to come and feel part of the clan, the Unbreakable Clan. We welcome you with open arms and invite you to sit down and chat. Drink that coffee (I like mine frozen with mocha), have a snack, kick up your feet and let’s chat.
Also a side note, I use to try to keep this clean and rated PG for all audiences, but let’s face it, that’s not who I am. I’m a foul-mouthed, struggling to keep it together Momma trying to do her best with what she has. If that’s not for you, I’m sorry to see you go, but I’m not changing who I am to suit the masses.
I am me, and I’m not ashamed of that. I have purple in my hair, I like to rep my daughter all year round for epilepsy awareness. I also have added blue streaks in there for Hydrocephalus awareness. I have mermaid hair. I have tattoos. I have an attitude, I’m sassy and salty.
The first step on your journey to finding yourself is to be you. The only person on the planet who is qualified to be you, is you. Own it. Find your comfort in who you are, and believe when I say, it doesn’t matter one bit what anyone else thinks. This is your life. Live it your way. YOU DO YOU!!!!
Now for the fun stuff… Hit me up on the social media!!!! I can be found everywhere.
